Who Are We

Built By The Bid is a movement within Working Men of Christ (WMOC), led by formerly incarcerated men who allowed the bid to build them, not break them.

We are living proof that prison time can become purpose time when it is surrendered to Christ.

We do not speak from theory. We speak from the tier. We have done the time, fought the battles, and found freedom through the unfiltered Word of God. Now we go back into the darkest corners of incarceration to reach the forgotten, disciple the willing, and testify to the power of real transformation.

This movement is forged behind bars, not polished in pews

Built By The Bid is grounded in grit, redemption, and truth

To reach, disciple, and restore incarcerated men through lived testimony and the uncompromised Gospel of Jesus Christ.

We exist to help men do the inner work while doing time confronting their past, encountering Christ, and building a new future from the inside out.

In prison culture, “the bid” is your sentence the time you are doing

In the Kingdom of God, the bid becomes the blueprint

You may have been sentenced by man, but you are being built by God

The same time that was meant to destroy you can be the very season God uses to form you into something unshakable

We take the Gospel where others do not go — not just inside the walls, but deep into the heart of the prison system:

We are called to the yard, the cell, and the chapel wherever men are ready to grow in Christ, even while doing time

We are not quoting someone else’s story we are telling our own.

These testimonies come from prison yards, segregation cells, and second chances that only God could give
